  2. I have the most beautiful 5 mile square run..the first 1.25 goes right by the refinery it lights up at night with all the pollution, pure beauty. the second 1.25 runs along a busy road where it's all commercial buildings so landscaping is scares when the wind picks up the dust and dirt is pleasantly embedded in your eyeballs. The next 1.25 has no shoulder and is close to a freeway on ramp for all the commercial buildings so the no shoulder road is great cross training dodging semi's and oh how could I forget the private airport that the landing strip hovers right over head if a plane is landing you feel a need to duck so you don't die. Last but not least the final stretch of the run has a railroad track that always has a train stopped so with out fail you will be stuck waiting for a train...Don't believe me on any of this..Next time you are in the hood come join me for a run. ITS EPIC!

  3. Sweet free stuff, I just followed you. My favorite race so far (I am running my 11th race this Friday the Midnight 5k) was the Snow Canyon half marathon. It was an awesomely downhill course that was very pretty and my first foray at a long distance run. I would have given it to the SHAC sprint triathlon except for the horrendous wait for pool time (stood an hour to get my turn at the swim).

Oh and I spent a half hour making a google calendar tonight for marathon training beginning Monday, doing Hal Higdon's Intermediate II training plan.
