We have a new trail in our area which has what I believe is the greatest name ever given to a trail. It's called "More Cowbell"! And one of the coolest things I've ever seen on a trail - they installed an actual cowbell!
You better believe I will be ringing this thing every single time I pass it.
Last week I hit this trail right as the sun came up. On the horizon I could see an enormous storm rolling in. I figured I had about an 80% chance of getting absolutely pounded. This was the scary monster that was chasing me:
I instantly fell in love with this trail the first time we met a few weeks ago. It is a fast trail that is smooth as butter. (Mmmm. Butter.) And the scenery.....just....wow. How could you NOT fall deeply, madly in love with this?
The good news is that I somehow managed to beat the odds and didn't need an ark to get back to my car. I didn't get anything more than a light sprinkle.
I know it sounds silly, and maybe I need therapy, but ever since I first ran this trail I constantly find myself feeling antsy to get back there and run again. I've got a fever. And the only prescription is the More Cowbell Trail!
